A Consecration Prayer

Today, this day..is the day the Lord, You have made for me…and it’s so special to me. I felt such a sense of your drawing love for me. You have made the way and you have opened the door for me to enter in into this time and season of being magnetized into Your Presence. It’s truly not my doing. You and YOU ALONE have placed this growing desire within me ”to be Before YOU” in response to the prayers of many of your people who love me. I thank You for each of them. May you reward them generously and abundantly for their tenacity in seeking Your face on my behalf.

I stand in awe of You, of Your Mysterious Ways of Working. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard what the Lord has prepared for those who love You. I am lost, dumbfounded, speechless, captivated by Your Amazing Magical Hands that have ushered me into this Place, this Posture, this Possibility and into Your Plan. Thank you Jesus, my Savior, my Lover, my Friend, my Elder Brother, my Shepherd, my Bridegroom, my Life and the very Breath in me.

Today I consecrate myself to You and to Your Deep Creative workings within my spirit, soul and body. I asked that You will align my thoughts, my passions, my will to conform to Your Mind, Your Passions and Your Desires and to the Destiny you have planned for my life. I acknowledge that life is Yours and Yours alone. You have redeemed, you have called me that Your Name will be glorified through my life consecrated to You.

I know that I cannot do anything without Your Holy Spirit. So I yield myself to the Holy Spirit to come in the fullness of His Power and Might. Holy Spirit, move in me through the time of waiting before You. In the worship, intercession, through the preaching and hearing of your word, let me hear You and Your voice clearly and empower me to Obey and Do the word .

I consecrate myself to the reading and listening and obeying of the word of the Lord. I pray that You will enlarge my capacity for Your love and compassion. I ask that You will enable me to be very childlike in my faith and trust towards You. Increase my delight and capacity to Wait Before You – intensify the longings and embracing of Your ravishing love for me. Let Jesus be seen more and more. Jesus, You shall increase and I shall decrease.
