Weekly meanderings

Last Sunday, the English congregation responded in giving to a Nigerian brother. Kudos to all who gave in yielding to the promptings of the Spriit.

Power Encountered at the last Wednesday Prayer Meeting was different, awesome and I personally felt very refreshing. The worshippers, prayer warriors, intercessors or just participants are beginning to be willing to step into deeper waters of the Holy Spirit. Many were willing to allow the Holy Spirit to take them into a time and spirit of groaning and intercession for each other and the church at FCC. [ Romans 8:26 -27 - Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the wil of God. Galatians 4:19 - Paul travails as in childbirth for his spiritual children that Christ is formed in you. I believe part of the laboring is intercession in the Spirit ]

Earlier in that evening I was saying in my heart that I am not going to "DO' anything at the Prayer Meeting. So i guess with that posture the Holy Spirit was able to have room to do what He has in His agenda. I think this is exciting...emptying and surrendering and yielding. Being actively passive and passively alert to the directions of the Holy
Spirit. The posture of " Lord, i don't know, but You know; You move and I am willing to move with you."

There's going to be a wedding this Saturday. Matthew and Jessica from the Chinese Congregation will be united in marriage. it's been such a long time since we have a wedding within our church premise. it is really a nice feeling. The community chipping in decorations and preparing for the wedding ceremony. It's a nice "feeling of FAMILY".
