Back from the Station of Life

Yes, I have not been posting as I have been away in Lahat Datu, Sabah, East Malaysia for 3 weeks at the Station of Life. It was a wonderful break for me. Time was spent absorbing truths and revelations from seasoned men and women of God who has fought with lions and bears. They were not just preaching sermons or teaching subjects. Their message was their life with God - God's dealings in their own lives. It was also a time to get discipline in the basic of fasting and spending at least at hour with God daily. Build some new friendships.
There was one clear observation during this interaction - Many pastors and Christian workers are not experiencing spiritual community in their Christian Life. How can we truly build His Church [ His Community] if ministers themselves do not experience church as a living reality. Most are in Christian ministry fulfilling their spiritual responsibility as Christian care-givers but very few have brothers and sisters that they can relate to honestly on a regular basis. My key emphasis is "Honest relationship". No wonder many in the ministry get tired, disillusioned and burnt out. The community with Christ as the center and the dynamics of the Holy Spirit provides for us a well for our cleansing and refreshing. Jesus asked us to wash each others feet - John 13:14. Are you taking off your sandals and is anyone washing your feet? Do not get used to the dust on your feet. Before long, you might limping away on a different path. Let us walk this journey together. Shalom.

We all need a break - the world seems to be be spinning faster, where does the time go? Last Sunday my Pastor spoke on being "people" orientated, not "task or ministry" orientated.
Do we come to church just for receiving God's blessing, to top up the "fuel" for the week - or do we also come to praise God for His abundant blessings and bless someone else in church. We have so much and yet not enough - do we see the famine (the suffering)in Northern Africa where a 3 year old child has the body of a six month old baby, where the mother has to decide which child lives and which survives. God help us to be thankful and to learn to share & give.

Hi Luke,

I was chatting with a sister from KL and mentioned to her that my spiritual life is dry. City Harvest Bible Training Center(CHBTC)from Singapore offers 5 months course from Christian Lifestyle, Discipleship, Deliverance, Gifts of the Holy Spirit to Making Marriage Work, Tabernacle....Christology. And the fee is SG$1200. Sister Rebekah then suggested me to go for this Station of Life in Sabah. I found your Blog while I was looking for the website.
Do you have the website add of SOL? Could you tell me when is the next available course and how long is the duration? Also the course fee as well. Hope to hear from you soon!

All this mumbo jumbo about finding a God somewhere who is interested in us. Face up to the reality- we all descended from the monkeys and Charles darwin was not the 1st to discover that.

Yes I agree with anonymous about us descending from monkeys. There are actually 16 body parts humans posess that really belongs to the animal world. Which species passed that on to you?>

There is so much chaos in the world because when God made this world he did not ask my opinion. I would have adviced him to surround the tree of life with electric barbed wires.

The real culprit in the fall is not Adam but God. But since He is God and we cannpot punish him, so we gotta eat the shit-loh!!!You think God is going to accept the blame?? He is non- accountable- thats what makes Him God- so any crap due to mistakes wis bound to fall on us." Go home and eat shit!!'"
