Dear friend,

We have not seen or heard from each other for more some months. Sorry, I did not inform you where I was going.

NOw I see you. YOu seem distant: Afraid for me to see the inside of you.
You want to be brave to meet me. YOu are trying to be strong. You have always been strong. YOu manage to smile but your eyes are not meeting mine. I am standing outside, wanting to get in, wanting to share the things in your heart.
You know.... it's ok to be weak, to be down, to even fail.

I know you have been wounded, you are still hurting. But here I am, wanting to stand where you stand.I think I am feeling your pain.
I am looking into your eyes. Don't turn away, look...you were there when I needed you, now here I am..with you. YOu are not alone. YOu were my friend when I needed a friend, you were there listening, you were there; now here I am...a friend.

And then we prayed, our eyes opened...

Father, hold my friend now in your strong hands. Heal his wounded heart. LEt your Presence be mightly felt. YOu are with him right now, let him be strong and courageous.
