FCC - ATM community

Fcc – towards a ATM community What is this?

A –Authentic – We desire genuine encounters one with another and with the Lord.
T –Transformational – We are changed under the umbrella of His Love
M – Missional – In the words of our guest speaker Sherman Kuek, it is to
1. Love
2. Love radically
3. Love radically outwardly so that others may come to know His Love.

Half-way in our discussion at the cell leaders monthly meeting last
week, I told them to peek out the room. There crowded around a table,
our youths were having a fun time playing "pictionary' while some
ladies were just chit-chatting while waiting for their spouse. It was
a quite a beautiful picture of the 'community" at FCC.

It was a very poignant moment as we have been discussing about FCC
being a blessing to our community. We had deliberated and were
convinced that in order for us to be a blessing to our community –
near or far, we have to be a healthy community. There were many P's
that we came out with.

PLACE- God has blessed us with a very pleasant, strategic place and
property at J. Ipoh
PEOPLE – We talk about the need for us to make time to come together
to talk and listen to one another…which is not more important than the
need of
PRAYER – It is through prayer that we receive the right
PASSION, PURPOSE, PLANS AND PROGRAM that God Himself will seem fit to
PROSPER that we may see
PROGRESS AND PRODUCTIVITY. PRAISE THE LORD

We want to encourage everyone to stay back after Sunday service or the
Wednesday Prayer Meeting for fellowship over a meal, coffee or tea.
Come and join us in our time of seeking God's face on Wednesday,
Special Monthly Unity Prayer as well as our Overnight Prayer – John
17: 20-23. Jesus prayed that we may be One and the most possible place is at the foot of the Cross.

The church is opened 7/7 for prayer. From 7 am to 7 pm, beside the
Bahasa, Chinese and English Prayer Meeting. The Glory of this House
shall be greater than the former – Haggai 2;5-9

We also want to see Parents and Adults supporting the youth in their
activities. These are the days when the Spirit of God is turning the
hearts of the father to the children and vice-versa. Malachi 4: 6. Be
a blessing to our youth. They meet on Saturday 5 pm.

We want to see the House of God to be a House of Prayer and Healing
for all nations. It is a House of Waiting, Longing and Welcome of sons
returning to the Father. It is a House of Compassion, a House of
Rejoicing and Celebration with music and dance. God Himself is waiting
for us to return to Him as sons and not slaves or servants. Come to
the Father; Everything was done so you could come. Luke 15.

Weekly meanderings

Last Sunday, the English congregation responded in giving to a Nigerian brother. Kudos to all who gave in yielding to the promptings of the Spriit.

Power Encountered at the last Wednesday Prayer Meeting was different, awesome and I personally felt very refreshing. The worshippers, prayer warriors, intercessors or just participants are beginning to be willing to step into deeper waters of the Holy Spirit. Many were willing to allow the Holy Spirit to take them into a time and spirit of groaning and intercession for each other and the church at FCC. [ Romans 8:26 -27 - Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the wil of God. Galatians 4:19 - Paul travails as in childbirth for his spiritual children that Christ is formed in you. I believe part of the laboring is intercession in the Spirit ]

Earlier in that evening I was saying in my heart that I am not going to "DO' anything at the Prayer Meeting. So i guess with that posture the Holy Spirit was able to have room to do what He has in His agenda. I think this is exciting...emptying and surrendering and yielding. Being actively passive and passively alert to the directions of the Holy
Spirit. The posture of " Lord, i don't know, but You know; You move and I am willing to move with you."

There's going to be a wedding this Saturday. Matthew and Jessica from the Chinese Congregation will be united in marriage. it's been such a long time since we have a wedding within our church premise. it is really a nice feeling. The community chipping in decorations and preparing for the wedding ceremony. It's a nice "feeling of FAMILY".
