Informations to transformation

Have you reflected how much change has happened in your life this year that made a difference in the Kingdom of God?
Have those changes advanced or retreat the cause of Jesus Christ to touch and transformed human lives? Have we brought anyone nearer to the kingdom of God? Have we walk with anyone into the Kingdom of God?
The church in general used to talked about evangelism in terms of witnessing by way of sharing the 4 spiritual laws and people saying the sinners’ prayer. But I think we have grown to see that evangelism is more than just sharing some organised informations about Jesus Christ and getting people to give a mental accent followed by a verbal confession of faith in Christ. Very often we see that those who actually "qualify" these steps never really gone on further with following Jesus. Why?
Do we ourself truly understand this decision we made to "accept’ Christ? How can we take someone to where we have never been? Does our respond to Jesus Christ includes "denying ourself"? Have we received Jesus as another "good thing" that will add to the quality of our living on earth? Is Jesus just one of the compartments in our busy life?
I am not even asking for a verbal response to all these questions. It is really not about what we say with our lips but it is really about what we say from the way we live our life. What does each of our daily living says about the "Lord" whom we have invited into our lives? In our living, is He really the Lord? In our use of our time, money and other "God-blessed" resources, who is really in charged? Whom do we consult?
Is having an ongoing dialogue with God a reality? Do we seek to know the whole counsel of God? Have we decreased and He increased in our lives more and more? Does our living reflect that He is more and more in control of our lives?
Our Theme: Transformation and Conquest. As He transformed us more, He conquers more through us, advancing the Kingdom of God. Are you allowing God to make changes in your life for the advancement of His Kingdom? Time, money and all your resources and talents: make them available for Him.
I believe that FCC is making a little step forward for the kingdom of God this October as we opened up our first mercy home. We are calling it RAPHA := HEALING. We HOPE TO SEE HEARTS TOUCHED AND LIVES BEING REBUILT FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.
We want to offer more than just the informations about Jesus. We want to offer Jesus in tangible forms: feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless. Let Thy Kingdom Come and let Thy Will be done.

FCC Mercy Home

Found and rented a double-storey end-lot to start our mercy home. Got it cleaned and painted. There are stuff you can give towards the furnishing of this home- Refrigerator, stove, tv, double deckers, dining table, sofas etc.

The pastors went there to pray yesterday.

Home: Do you have a house to stay and a home to go back to? Many have houses to go back to, but not homes.

Everyone should have a home. A place to belong, to be wanted, valued, appreciated, to share and to be alive: a place to just be.

When people don't have homes - there is a sense of aloneness, loneliness, valueless,

Some folks from the Gurkha village paid a visit at that place. After that we had supper over at my place. Eating together, looking at each other, listening, asking, telling, smiling, serving,...saying goodbyes, praying, walking to the cars, hugging, more goodnites, waving,,,,God bless you.

God, we love you.

The name the mercy home:Rapha

Random Reports

On Sunday the church prayed for Jonathan Scully as he goes to England to finish his studies. We also had our last Solemn Assembly for the month of August. Praying that the Spirit of Prayer and Intercession will go on.
I joined the Seremban folks for their picnic cum water baptism at Port Dickson on Wednesday. It was really awesome. We were praising and worshipping and testifying openly at the beach. People were already sniffing with wet eyes and noses. Then it happened. As we started praying for the 4 baptismal candidates, something hit. It was like a revival meeting in the church. 3 of them began shaking and screaming and fell to the ground. I have never heard such earnest prayer of repentance and thanksgiving from their cries. Only a few were not touched by that experience. We had to pass a lot of tissues around as people wept openly. Reminded me of Acts 2 - there were many people watching and hearing the "commotion". We continue singing and rejoicing as the 4 goes into the water, identifying themselves with the death and resurrection of the Lord. Halleluyah.
Was invited to a home cook dinner at Dino & Diana Chow at Klang. Met Eddy G there. Such a small and fastantic world of divine appointments. I know Dino, who knows Eddy who knows me. without us knowing. Understand? Never mind. Never met together b4 or knew the connection until yesterday. So wonderfully strange or strangely wonderful.I am sure there was a purpose to all this. As we converse, we found more disconnected past connections. Understand? Never mind. We had more common friends. Wow.
This morning was great. Someone call, met and we had such a heart to heart conversation. Never mind who or what. The gist is this. I am blessed with honest conversation even though it hurts. How can there be true communion or community without honesty. The honest conversation took the relationship to a new level of trustful freedom and mutual appreciation and admiration. I love my God - who loves me Honestly and Openly. I love God's people who are healed enough to love honestly though not perfectly.
This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in Him.
I will LIVE in this world in he sacredness of TODAY.
